It is time for first my first craft post. My dear friend turned 40 years old this year and as a group of moms we celebrated the event in a little tapas restaurant in Seattle. When it comes to birthday presents, I like to give a handmade gift. In general, I like that this kind of gift is unique, there will never be two alike and I am putting my time in it as a “I care for you” message. In that spirit, I sewed a little coin purse for my friend. I bought the pattern from the ithinksew.com website called the Andrea Coin Purse. The fabric used is 100% linen for the outer shell, rayon lining and the frame was purchased in a craft store.
