The holiday season is a time of celebration with family and friends. As delightful as it is, this year my family caught the stomach flu right on time for the Christmas Eve feast. Here is the ginger tea concoction I prepared for my family to recover and stabilize our stomach.
- 1 to 2 inches of fresh ginger (candied ginger would do very well too)
- Boiling water.
- Peel and cube the ginger root and add to a teapot.
- Pour boiling water in the teapot and let steep 10 to 15 minutes.
- Enjoy as often as possible until the stomach feels better.
